The plot:
Not so recently I posted on EVE forums, offering free PLEXes to newbros provided they use my trial. It was a simple concept, I plex you, you and I get a month of playtime, suddenly two months were gained for the price of one at zero effort. All of this was made possible or made reasonable thanks to the buddy connect feature in which I could verify I was not being scammed out of that bonus playtime.
I was too lazy convincing friends to try EVE and the plex spent on them would have been thrown away mostly anyway.
I expected salt, provocation, misunderstanding and eventually got them all fitted in. The topic also got locked cause it clearly stole money from CCP budget and enraged thousands of people with various referal offers.
I would not say the floodgates have opened, but there were still numerous eager vet beavers pretencious cunts trying to snatch that free 51 day alt, usually they would just take it and leave, well good for them and good for me.
The chosen few
But there have also been individuals that would share their plans and would listen to guidance on how to make it in EVE, which brings me to the guide I posted years ago on forum.
Again, rather simple, here is your skillplan, here is your way to make billions within reasonable timeframe using low intelectual effort, some might even call it relaxing.
Over time prior to the forum post I have cherry picked thorougly some people from czech community and on rare opportunities would issue the free PLEX to see them through.
The outcome:
What I got in return was questions on how to, what to do, wtf is it that those english people with incomprehensive accent are saying and such. But since most of them made it through, I usually also got another PLEX license to continue my efforts and also some gratitude.
And so I keep going, if you are an alphaca person or just a pretencious greedy cunt you go ahead and ask for a PLEX and if you meet the mentioned requiremenets, you might be given a PLEX. I am a generous god after all.
The meaning:
The moral of this whole wall of text is, that less is sometimes more. While I understand the socialistic need to keep people limited, stupid and controlable, I encourage to raise, or rather not raise them into independence.
Give them a headstart, then stand back and watch. Or don't even look cause those rookie mistakes will give you cancer. But treat them as equals.
Let them prove their worth themselves to themselves and once they have a billion or two to spare, I am sure they will be happy to repay the favor.
Effort:
I put an hour into a bilingual guide, which I will have to rewrite to update links, cause locks.
I sometimes reply to silly e-mails, cause UTFG does not apply to people who can't speak english that much. (Did you know that Czech is arguably on par with chinese at being a hard language?)
And finally I get to do it again, getting free game time in the process.¨
It's really not that hard
If a Czech dad with a newborn child and a fulltime job, that does not really speak english can buy his own PLEX by the end of his first month, and never actually pay for the game, so can you. And if you can, well then you have another alt to try all the things you have thought about so far. GO!
